[SOLVED] Forgotten Password for my WD My Passport

So, I've got a 2TB HDD by WD. I've forgotten my password but still have access to the drive from earlier this year when setting up the drive to recognize my computer and allow access, so no files lost. But I was wondering if there was any way for me to reset or remove my password without having to go through the trouble of backing up the HDD to my PC, erasing the HDD, and then replacing the files?
