Forgotten Windows XP User Password

My PC boots into Windows XP and I need to log in. I have no clue what the password is to the user.

Sorry, but we can't help. Discussions on how to bypass security measures are not allowed. We have no means to verify the ownership of the system in question.

Windows XP is not safe to use. Why not spending some time trying to install Linux instead ?
