Format and Re-install

I'm looking to format my pc and reinstall windows 10 on it. I own the original copy but never bought it since i took it when it was free. Im worried that if I format my system, will the developers ask me to purchase since I already own the copy at hand. (yes the OS is linked to my hotmail account)

If you are just reinstalling in the same system, no issues with activation and licensing.
You do not have to purchase it again.

if all you are doing is reloading windows then all you have to do to activate it again is to connect your computer up to the internet after the install has completed
