Format HDD

I am having problems with my computer and wanted to know if there was anyway to format the HDD or restore factory settings WITHOUT an OS CD to re install from, as I didn't get one when I bought my computer (HP G5120uk).

PS. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HP, THERE SUPPORT IS SO FRUSTRATING!
