Should format the same way you format any drive. Easiest way is right click the drive and format. If its a raw drive you will need to do it from disk management. Right click MyComputer - Manage - Disk management

Best chance is to get a USB card reader (unless you have one), go into the Device Manager (Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management - Disk Mangler) and see if the card is visible as a drive. If it is, right-click and initialize it, create a partition, and format it as NFS.

That's an unusual choice of media for backups, but probably convenient. Please look at the last month of the forum and see how many flash devices have failed, to give you an idea of the risks of using this medium.
