Ive been using my headphones for a while now and never had trouble with it but now it doesn't want to return to 7.1 surround sound and I get this error. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hello

Can you please tell if you have 7.1 speaker system or you're trying to enable Windows Sonic for regular speakers?

In the latter case, please check if the speakers you're trying to configure are set to default, the Windows Sonic option in the Spatial sound tab of the the speakers' properties box is selected, and that the Turn on 7.1 virtual surround sound box is checked.

Please report back with more details to allow us to help you with a better, more accurate solution.

I am using the Turtlebeach Tactical Audio Controller which provides 7.1 surround sound. I am not trying to enable windows sonic.
