[SOLVED] Formating lenovo y520-15ikbn

Hi everyone.

My gf has a lenovo y520-15ikbn. I want to format it. Is it the same process as normal?

Windows media creation tool -> put that usb key in the laptop and reinstall windows and everything will be ok?

I download the drivers on the lenovo homepage but I can see that you can scan the laptop with a software on that page to reinstall everything automatically.

Can I even boot to USB with this laptop?

Should I do a factory reset instead?

The laptop is extremelly slow and I just want to format it.

No need to format it beforehand.
Simply delete all the existing partitions during a fresh OS install.

I formated hundreds of desktop but I never did it on a laptop.

I will just do what I do for a desktop and I will just delete all existing partitions during the fresh OS install and let the installation create the partition needed by clicking next like I usually do.
