Formating mmc card

help me to format my mmc card.. its write protected

You can do it while its connected to the mobile phone. I think all mobile phones have the option of formatting the memory card.

what kind of cellphone are you using

there might be a write-protect slider knob thingie on the side of the mmc card. carefully slide it to the other side, connect it to your phone or pc and try to format it.
