I accidentally formatted the second partition of my HDD which had about 300GB worth of data. Now the hard drive shows empty and I have not put any other files on to that formatted partition. My question is, which data recovery software should I use to recover my data. I was thinking about ParetoLogic's Data Recovery Pro, but maybe there are better options available?

Computer Information :-

Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo E7500
RAM - 2x2 GB
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 2TB
OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit

Additional Information - The deleted partition contained all sorts of files, like images, songs, movies, setups, word files, ppt files, excel files, games, ebooks etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK I have started scanning but this is taking a hell of a lot of time. Its been 4 hours, only half of the bar is filled and its found about 60,000 items. The partition which got formatted had a capacity of 781 GB and had about 300 GB data on it. How much more time should this scan take now?

Actually, I've already recovered my data a few days ago.... Sorry forgot to mark thread as solved.
