Formatting Drives, etc.

When I installed W2K on a new computer I let it do the default sectors, no partitions on a 30G drive. I have 'very little' on it and I've used 2G already. Can someone give me some advice?
Also, I tried to install my printer, but inadvertantly installed the 98 drivers. I uninstalled this but now when I try to 'Add Printer" I have no resources.
Even pointing me to a book to buy would be greatly appreciated.

Win2000 takes up about 1gb alone, so with an office suite or other similar programs it could easily be up to 2gb.

What do you mean you "have no resources" when you try and install a printer ???
