Formatting MicroSD For Android Tablet

Wanting to put some movies on a MicroSD card with my Android Tablet. Thing is I put it in as is and the entire MicroSD wasn't recognized.

I'm wondering if it's the files or format of the MicroSD itself. Anyone know what format's are accepted? I'm watching these with VLC player

Android accepts Fat32 and ExFat for sure, NTFS - probably not.

Format it in windows PC as FAT32.
As suggested you need to make sure your tablet accepts >16gb cards.

Usually what happens with sd cards is that you have to format in the phone then transfer files to the sd card
