Formatting new Flash drive

Hello, I recently purchased a Kingston Flash Drive. I inserted it in my Windows PC. Set up wizard came on and asked that I enter a password and I did. Now it's asking if I want to format the drive. I click "yes" and it tells me that I don"t have sufficient rights to format. Help

You do not need to format a USB flash drive before you use it. What is your exact Windows version?
