Hi All,

So i installed a PNY CS1311 SSD on my computer yesterday in order to give me more room for my operating system/programs etc. I used the free EaseUS Todo Backup program to image the OS onto the new hard drive, however after restarting it only formatted the 60GB from the image and nothing else. Is there a way to format the remaining 50GB so that i can use them without starting over?

Thanks for any help in advance.

If you go into Windows Disk Management, (START>RUN> type diskmgmt.msc [Enter]) can you see the unformatted partition of the new SSD drive? It will probably be highlighted black, next to the system partition.

Right click and "Mark Partition as active" then format etc.

You are probably best to just back up your User data and any other data you want to keep on the OS partition and completely reformat the whole drive since it is quite small capacity. Then reinstall Windows on it.
