Fornite lags on PC

Hi guys I've just downloaded Fortnite and it seems to stutter/lag a lot and I don't know if it's because of my internet connection or is it because of my PC. I'm guessing it's my internet connection due to high ping but it could also be m system since I have 4GB ram but still it doesn't make any sense since I've already turned my game's setting to the lowest plausible and it still stutter and lags on me. Is it my internet or my computer?

CPU: i5 7300hq
GPU: GTX 1050
RAM: 4GB DDR4
1TB HDD

Internet speed
Ping: 271 to 351
D: 2.59 Mbps
U: 1.3 mps

Yes, I also have tried using LAN Cable to connect to the internet since I know this would be faster but still even with it my ping was still hovering around 270 to 350

If the ping is still bad using cable...
I do not play Fornite but can you switch to other servers or something like that?
