If you are faced with an enemy and you have a good amount of wood, you can start to build structures that get you to a height, sort of like a sniper tower. Your enemy will be left behind and you when you reach a certain height, you can glide down from there. It is a good tactic but the problem is that it may not work sometimes. This is because if you are building, there is a chance that you enemy is stubborn and he starts to build as well. So one thing that you can do while you are building is to build secret section inside your construction that your enemy cannot see and then drop under that section. This way, your enemy will get confused and may go back down.
Run and Hide:
This is the most famous one. As soon as you see an enemy coming towards you, start running in an opposite direction and do a bit of jumping and Zig Zag to make it tough for them to shoot you while you are running. It works best if you are in an area where there are some buildings. You can run and enter a building, leave from the back door. Or, you can also hide inside the building if the enemy is not following you. This sometimes works and sometimes not but if you don’t have the resources to build, use this tactic.
Use Launchpad:
This is another great tactic to escape from fights quickly. But the only condition is that you must have to have a Launchpad. When you see an enemy chasing you, just go behind a building or something that can give you cover and enough time to build a floor and place the launch pad. You can also cover yourself in a box and then use the Launchpad if you are in the open. Once you have the floor ready, place the Launchpad and then launch yourself into the sky. You can now glide towards the place you want to go without much problem. Also, this will create a good distance between you and your enemy.
Kill Them:
Well, what’s a better escape then ending the fight? If you do not find any of the above-mentioned techniques working for your or you do not have enough resources like wood or the Launchpad then you can always engage in the fight and try out your luck. You can use jumping to avoid their fires and then shoot them towards the upper area as much as possible to get better chances of killing them and ending the game of cat and mouse once and for all.
