Wailing Woods is a forest area to the north of lonely lodge and the east of the Tomato Town. The area contains a maze at the center and it does not contain many chests. This is the reason that not many players land there.
But, to get whatever number of chests it encompasses, follow the guide below:
- You will find one chest to the north of Wailing Woods. If you go to north, you will see a truck parked to the left side of the small shack. Go to the back of that truck to find a chest.
- You will find another chest to the southern side of the Wailing Woods. Go to the southern end and you will see an RV parked there. Go to the top of that RV and you will see a chest there. You can build a ramp to get to the top of that RV.
- If you go to the north and towards the edge of the tree line then you may find another chest there. What you need to do is to go to the two RVs and the tent that are near the edge of the tree line to the north and you will see a chest there.
- There is a purple truck in Wailing Woods that contains a chest. If you go to the northeast side of the Wailing Woods then near the edge of tree line, you will see a truck of purple color. Go to the back of that truck to find a chest sitting in its back.
- There is a maze area in the wailing woods, don’t go there or you may get lost. Go to the east of that maze area in the middle of the Wailing Woods and you will find an RV that will be parked inside a ditch and stuck with a wooden log. Go there and you will find the chest next to that log.
- This is a bit hard to find but you can get it if you try a little bit. This chest can be found in the maze. What you need to do is to go to the maze and then go to the middle area of the maze. There is a chest that spawns right in the middle of the maze in the tower.
- You will find more chests in the maze area. If you go to the corner of the maze you will see trees. Go to those trees and you may find up to four chests underneath the trees at the corner of the maze area.
Finding chests in Wailing Woods especially in the maze area can be a bit challenging but if you look thoroughly, you will have better chances of finding the chests. The one in the tower is easy to find as it is at the center of the maze so all you need to do is to go to the center and you will find it inside the tower, rest of the chests are easy to find as well, just follow the instructions mentioned above.
