When I play fortnite on my PC i get random undetected fps drops, meaning I will experience random drops but my FPS counter on fortnite and on NVIDIA will stay at 144fps which is my cap. I sometimes drop frames normally like i used to and like all pcs do when experiencing hard things to display.
For Example, i will play normally and usually sometimes get the random fps drops and then i call someone on discord and it is a constant drop that i can feel but is not shown on my fps counter.
Things I've tried:
- Fresh Start PC
- Reinstall Fortnite
- Take out a piece of RAM
- Swap Ram Positions.
- Change Power points
- Taken an Intel Diagnostic Tool test and passed.
- Change my second monitor back to the Graphics Card from an Integrated Graphics setup
My Specs:
- GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU
- 16 GB Ram (Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400MHz)
- MSI B250M Gaming Pro Motherboard
- Antec Basiq VP-600P 600W Power Supply
- Cooler Master Hyper 212X CPU Cooler
- Running 144Hz at 1280x1080
