Fortnite keeps freezing during fights.

Hello,

So this has been a problem for a couple weeks now (I only played a couple weeks). Every time I am in a fight, right before they shoot me at close range, I freeze and I can't do anything about it, then when the game unfreezes I am already dead. This is annoying me a lot, and it's keeping me from winning games. Nothing else is running in my background except discord, and I don't have teamviewer installed anymore because I know that causes issues with a lot of games. I don't know what other information to give, so please ask for other information if you need it.

I'm a tutor at a local high school (tech and math) and all the talk in my classes recently is fortnite. Everyone seems to have problems, no matter how good their computer or their connection is. I wish I could suggest a solution, but it seems to me that the issue the game servers and not the gamers. Sorry.
