Fortnite switches from Nvidia graphics to integrated graphics

Hello,
I have a Dell XPS 15 9550 with a 960m. All of my drivers are updated, and I have made sure that fortnite uses the nvidia card through the Nvidia Control Center. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. What happens is that I start a game of fortnite and it is fine for the first half of the game, and then it randomly switches to the integrated graphics. It stays on the integrated graphics until I restart the game. I have been monitoring this through task manager. I don't know what to do anymore. Anyone have a solution?? Thanks!

Edit: sorry, I didnt specify how my framerates are. So the game starts with 60 FPS with the nvidia card then when it switches, it stays around 30 to 40 FPS for the integrated card.
