Forza horizon 3 gets huge frame drops

Hey, so I bought Forza horizon 3 and it played smooth but recently I had some issues with fps, at first i couldn't even have chrome open because it would instantly drop me from 60 FPS to 8 FPS. Shutting down chrome with task manager did the trick.

Now even with nothing running except Forza I can't play the game at all, it gets to 60FPS and when i start doing anything it drops to 17 and even 8 fps sometimes!

Please HELP!

My Specs:

i5 4670k @ 4.2Ghz
8gb ddr3 1600Mhz
Rx 480 8gb
1080p monitor

@ what detail level and resolution are you playing ?

edit: have you set your own fan speed levels and/or overclocked your gpu ?

Playing at Medium @ 1080p

edit: have you set your own fan speed levels and/or overclocked your gpu ?

All i've done was set the MSI gaming app to gaming mode

All i've done was set the MSI gaming app to gaming mode

remove msi gaming app and see if the problem resolves itself .
