Forza Horizon 3 low FPS

hi , i have a i5 6600k CPU, 12gb DDR3 ram , and a PALIT GTX 980 SUPER JETSTREAM GPU...i expected Forza Horizon 3 to work at 60fps ultra...but i am only getting 40-50fps and sometimes even drops down to 30fps....can someone please help me with this problem, i really wanna play the game at its best

ddr3 with A 6600K? typo? forza isnt that well optimized, i get around 60 fps on ultra (specs in sig) but have to restart the game every hour or so or the fps drops horribly. the only thing i found to help was closing background programs. if you check out the forums dedicated to the game and forza 6 apex you will find a lot of people with the same issue, for now it appears we have to ride out the storm and wait for them to optimize it properly.

nothing, just a little odd to see skylake paired with ddr3, at least in my opinion

can i show u my complete spec and can u help me achieve atleast what u are getting....a constant 50-60fps?

my apologies but i cant give you a definitive answer, for me closing background process worked, post up your full specs and hopefully someone will come along with a definite answer, i just booted the game to triple check my graphics options and saw an update has been released http://www.forzamotorsport.net/en-us/news/fh3_october_update hopefully this solves the issue for you, as your rig is more than capable of 60 fps+

This is my complete spec. i have updated gpu drivers to the latest and the game has been updated too...yet i am only getting 30-50fps

i hope someone comes along with an answer for you, its a brilliant game just badly optimized, mine just kind of started running properly with no input from me
