Forza Horizon 4 strange CPU behavior

Hi guys,

So I am running FH4, the game runs good, but I checked other people benchmarks for the game and the CPU blue and green simulations are almost constant without any drops ( image -> https://ibb.co/m4HAQL ) compared to mine (my pc image ->https://ibb.co/gGKwzf ). So I started to think that I could run the game much better.

What could be the issue? Maybe it is because I am using 8gb ram?

Use lower graphics settings,at the moment your GPU can only manage half the FPS that your CPU does.

Hmm...
But it is a GTX 1080 it should technically run 1440p 60fps Ultra/Extreme with no problem (compared with other benchmarks I saw with almost the same pc setup)

You have ran out of system memory, it clearly shows it using over 9GB out of 7.9GB available.

Forza itself (and Windows 10) gobble up RAM like crazy. I'm often at 5.5-6.5 GB of usage on Forza 7, and the demo of FH4 was doing similar things to my system.

Hi guys,

I went to the store got an extra set of 8gb ram and it solved my cpu behavior. Now at 1440p Ultra/Extreme settings, I am getting 70+ frames.
