Info:
When I tried several times to download SP2 it would stop
halfway and timed itself out. I learned that my problem
was caused by an improperly removed software (Roxio).
When I incorrectly removed the software I left the file
cdudf_XP. When Windows was checking for Roxio, RPC could
not start the Roxio service so the whole thing was timing
itself out and after a couple of minutes it would fail.
I solved my problem by reinstalling Roxio, then removing
it properly and finally I was able to install SP2 without
a hitch. The Windows Operating System error I was
receiving all along was ID: 10010, Source: DCOM.
I hope someone can solve a similar SP2 downloading
problem with this information.
