I've noticed the RTX 4000's are huge! They are 3 and 4 slot video cards. I've noticed most custom 4000's video cards come with support beams out of the box. I've heard the 3080 Founders Edition don't sag. The claim is the solid brick design is rigid and doesn't bend. I'm not sure I buy it. Don't custom cards come with solid metal back plates? Besides, I thought sag happened because the heavy weight of the card is only supported on one side by the case. What do you think? Do you have a 4080 or 4090 FE? Please share, thanks!

Usually the founders edition cards sag less because they are built to a higher standard, with more metal and less plastic, especially nvidia.
They still do sag.
As long as you don't put pressure on them or ship them, you don't need to worry about it.
You can also put your own support beam if you're worried.
