Four 2.5" Hard Drives From 500 GB To 1 TB, Benchmarked

A fine review, as usually from TH. Yet mostly useless w/o the noise and vibration data!
Once you have the drives and measure them, it's quite easy to set 2-3 mikes on and around the DUT. Actually even the subjective "ear and finger" results would help. Good work cancelled by a key ommission!

I own this drive and I am unable to get copy speed more than 900 KBps which is under 1MBps. I am using this drive on my desktop PC with windows 8.
I am also using a Hitachi 250GB HDD 2.5" on my desktop PC but it gives 17-18MBps copy transfer rate, Am I missing some settings?
I tried changing to IDE in BIOS, and enabling and disabling write caching but to no avail.
