Foxcon motherboard - max ram upgradable?!

Hi guys, im wondering how much ram is supported by my motherboard..
on website it says like 2gb max, so I am wondering is that per slot?

In the specs it says: "DDR2 533 / 400 x 2 DIMMs, Max. 2GB"; that's 1GB per slot.

But how come i have 3gb? slot1 2gb kingston, slot2 1gb kingston.. but speed are different, slot1 -800MHz, slot2 667 i think.. I really dont get these motherboards xd

It detects 3gb, so Im thinking that it can max 2gb per slot? or what :/ these motherboards are wicked

It most likely will never make 4GB available; 3.5GB probably will be the max.

Well if i can put 4gb, and it detects 3.7-9 bcs i still use 32bits i will be happy xd Thanks for help bro, really appreciated

Try it, but it most likely won't exceed 3.5GB. Is buying a 2GB module really worth it for an extra 512MB?

I think it is, because before this pc i had one with 4gb ram and it was a lot different than 3gb..

By how much? An old system can use all 4GB only if the system supports more than 4GB, memory remapping is enabled and a 64 bit OS is used. That Foxconn motherboard doesn't support memory remapping or more than 4GB.
