Foxconn G33M02 memory upgrade

I have Dell Inspiron 530. I have seen the numerous warnings about memory limitations on this Mobo (Foxconn G33M02), thus my query:

I currently have
2x 1GB Hynix PC2-6400U 800Mhz DDR2 240pin (HYMP112U64CP8-S6 AB-C) DIMMs installed.

I would like to upgrade by adding
2 x 1GB Kingston PC2-6400 800 MHz DDR2 240pin (KTD-DM8400C/1G) DIMMs (apparantly suitable for Dell Optiplex 740, 745, 745 USFF).
Will this work?

you are basically replacing your ram with the same thing.you will notice no increase in performance.check to see what is the max ram your mb supports (probably 4gb) and install it.

OP is not replacing, but adding memory.

It is OK no problem here.

Now another thing to think about - if you have 64 bit OS you can instal up to 8 GB of RAM, I know how (officially is only 4 GB).

sorry misread that one.didnt realize his machine has 4 ram slots.
