I have a foxconn mobo and a phenom 9550 (I was so noob wheb I got it). My mobo's BIOS doesnt have any options that I need to have for overclocking. I tryed Ctrl+F1, bit it didnt help..... Is there any way to overclock my phenom with that mobo? If not, should I buy a new mobo and OC phenom to 2.8Ghz or it doesn't worth it and i should wait and get some good INTEL CPU later?

My mobo is one of those, but I'm not sure which one cuz they are all the same- http://www.foxconnchannel.com/product/motherboards/chipset.aspx?socket_id=en-us0000008&chipset_id=en-us0000128&Socket=Socket+AM2%2b%2fAM2&Chipset=AMD780G

if thats really the case, you can always just use AMD overdrive in windows, or ntune.

You should take another look at your bios (normaly press del on start up to get into it)
at the very least you should have the ref clock and multiplier settings.

I have a foxconn board. Its pretty good for overclocking.
