Solution cin19 Sep 27, 2014 MB memory is different to the GPU memory. As long as the MB has the pcie type slot with right BIOS version, the ddr3 GPU will fit, because the pciex16 either 2.0 or 3.0 will be backward compatible, except some MB has the pcie1.1X16 slot.
