[SOLVED] Fps cap on every game

Since today on ever game I play my fps are capt between 70-100.
Yesterday for example I was getting 250-300 in Overwatch, as ususal.
I didn t change anything at all, but today everything seems scuffed.
checked hz
updated gpu driver
checked ingame settings

don t know what else I could try

GPU: 2080ti
CPU: Ryzen 7 1700X

Are you watching your temp? see the options on windows 10 about your energy plan ad select high performance

It's probably not this, but if you are playing in borderless mode then try switching to fullscreen. This will help to ensure that the performance of the game is prioritised over other processes.

VSync on? Check your gpu settings for forced framerate. Maybe you have capped framerate on afterburner activated.

If none of those are the cause, reinstall your drivers and check back again.
