[SOLVED] FPS CAPPED AT 60

My ram is capped at 60 in ALL games

SPECS:

Gtx 1060 6gb

AMD FX 8320

Vengeance Pro LP ddr3 16gb

ASUS M5A97 evo 2.0

Seagate Desktop SSHD 1TB

Need help fixing this issue

Used to get 100 - 170 fps in certain games such as CS:GO and Rainbow Six Siege

Check the Nvidia control panel. In the left hand menu go to "Change resolution". On that page is an FPS changer. I'm assuming it's been reset to 60 after an update, that happens sometimes. Let me know if that's set to your monitor's max refreshrates. I'm not sure if this will fix your problem, so it's just a suggestion to check.
