FPS Counter won't go away

There's this yellowish, greenish FPS counter in the top right of my screen at all times weather I'm in game or just on the desktop. Its not geforce, and not steam I've had a look at a few other applications i have but it doesn't seem to be anything.

Have you ever installed FRAPS? It could be running in the background. Open Task Manager and see if any programs are running or are even enabled at startup.

No never installed that

Have you checked your Task manager for anything running that relates to FPS counters? And your case sounds like Nvidia’s FPS overlay but I guess you already checked that.
