I play Hypixel on Minecraft a lot and I used to get around 300 fps when in a lobby. But now I'm getting 45 to 80. my CPU utilization rests at about 15% and my GPU at 35% so I know it can do better. the specs are RTX 3060ti, i5-11600KF, DDR4 32 GB ram at 3600 MHz, Asrock z590-C/ac, and I'm on windows 11. thank you for your help

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Download the latest drivers from Nvidia's support site, then use DDU to uninstall your GPU drivers, disconnect from the www, reinstall with the latest drivers in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator, and see if that alleviates your issue.

BIOS version for your motherboard? Make and model of your PSU and it's age?

i have redone my drivers and updated my bios
neither have fixed it
nothing changed when my fps became bad and I've tried everything I could think of

Check for windows updates, game updates. Windows can and will revert any settings you change, like turning off Xbox DVR and/or Cortana etc which will impact gaming performance. The game updates will definitely mess with fps with their anti-cheat stuff, engine fixes etc and often will tank fps in some/many pc's as a result. Fix one headache by creating 3 more.

Reddit is usually a pretty good source of info on game update versions, and how much fps has been lost, complaints etc. Don't assume it's your pc until you can rule out the game being the issue.

no windows updates, im playing on an old version of Minecraft so no updates, I checked those things, the anti cheat is not on my PC its on the server so that doesn't change anytthing
