I recently overclocked my Ryzen 5 5600 CPU, testing it at 4.7 and later 4.8 GHz. I ran the Prime95 test, and there were no signs of overheating or any other issues—it was running stably. However, Prime95 or Cinebench tests are not as important to me as the Cyberpunk FPS test. Normally, I would get 60 FPS in this game with my 3080 GPU, but after the overclock, it dropped to 30 FPS and wouldn’t increase. I thought something was wrong, so I reverted all the overclocking and reset the BIOS, but nothing changed. Cyberpunk was still at 30 FPS. I also tested Uncharted 4 and noticed a 5-10 FPS drop compared to before, though it wasn’t as noticeable. I just tested Alan Wake 2, and despite having DLSS on, I’m only getting 10 FPS. Could I have damaged my CPU? What could be causing this? I’ve reverted almost everything, including BIOS and overclock settings, but the FPS is still low. What could be the reason?
A small note: I am currently using 360mm thermalright liquid cooling, during prime 95 or cinebench tests, the maximum temperature is 65-70 degrees.
