Basically I was overclocking my GPU and my computer crashed (white screen) I was maintaining relatively stable overclock on my GTX 970 Direct CU ll when playing a game it crashed so after restarting I thought I'd benchmark my GPU again at the stable clock speed on 3D mark my previous results were 11512+ on firestrike but now only getting 6000 with low FPS in the tests. physics seem the same but fps checks and combined all low any ideas broke my GPU?

after a failed overclock sometimes the drivers can get corrupted. do a clean install of most current driver and that should get you back in business...

Tried never worked, corrupt windows?

do a system restore to an earlier point then.... cant hurt!!!!

My GPU is performing like a GTX 660 from experience considering its a 970 OCedition and you can view all my specs in my bio, this makes no sense to why I am getting low fps?

specs look good . nice psu by the way... try a sytem restore... also uninstall the video card and reinstall it(cant hurt). its possible you need to RMA the card!!!

That was overclock I did but I've got it running on that right now seems to be running okay but yet obviously there is a issue with 3D mark not liking it, when my computer white screened it didn't occur untill launching a BF4 singleplayer so really its quite bizarre it first went through the bench marks and got this score:

After crash:

I am a where of a lower cpu clock speed but that still hasn't fixed the issue because I've tried all clock speeds could it be the motherboard?

3d mark just don't like you. uninstall 3d mark and reinstall 3d mark... is everthing else ok tho??? gio back to default settings first then uninstall oc software and reinstall...

Think I've killed my GPU not sure though going to try and play BF4 Multiplayer I'll get back to you in the mean time check this out. Makes no sense right?

Update BF4 FPS dropped by about 5% was getting 144 locked on Ultra now getting 110- 120fps so what ever it is something has died?

Maybe you did kill it. I don't know what else could cause this in your system........do you have another card laying around did you try reinstalling the card???????

I am just going to put it down to Windows 10 try a re-install and in a day or two I'll get back and post to see if it helped ....

No luck re-installing OS my Vcore for GPU is 1.025v all seems well with readings and still plays game faulty mem stick?

when I saw the link I was taken back... use whatever you want . I like Precision X. MSI afterburner is good.. even ASUS software is good . don't know why your gpu is throttled back in voltage unless you checking while not being under a heavy load.

Yes, but this isn't the issue the first 3D Mark score was on Windows 10 which was high with no FPS drops, then the GPU test after that was done on Windows 10 also scored high then after doing overclocking pffffffffffffffffff now stuck at a Vcore of 1.025 for GPU which sounds like I've broke my GPU 🙁

Start up afterburner turn on osd in settings enable voltage reading aswell. Run any benchmark observe your boosted voltage then tell us again the voltage no need to overclock or anything just want to find out your stockboosted voltages to make sure your card is boosting properly

personally i highly doubt your card is broke it will be something silly causing the problem. If your really worried about it i would see if you can try the card in another system maybe just as a quick test.

Can't find the observe option in afterburner gone.
