Question FPS drop after installing SSD in slot 2

I just installed a new ssd in my second slot (crucial 1tb p3 PCIe NVME M.2 2280) and before installation i was getting fps above 250 but now every game has fps drop . I have nothing in my new ssd installed till now still the games are showing low fps even when they are installed in my old ssd

Model -dell g15 5515 ryzen 5 rtx3050 16gb ram

Old ssd(built in)-BC711 NVMe SK hynix 512gb
New-crucial 1tb p3 PCIe NVME M.2 2280

I dont have any hdd and i have updated all my drivers and also reinstalled the game but still the same problem

Did you make sure to update the BIOS on your laptop prior to dropping in the new SSD? I would also look into the OS, Device Manager and see if there's anything flagged with a yellow exclamation mark.

thank you very very much updating bios cured the problem and everything is running fine for now
