First of all this is my system specs :
Ryzen 7 5700x
RTX 3070
MSI B550 Tomahawk
Seasonic Focus Gold 650W

I was experiencing microstutter and stuttering when playing valorant in windows 11 on my system, i read that the problem is within the ftm and i should try updating the bios, i updated the bios to the latest on my board support page which is contain AGESA 1.2.0.C
i forget which version of bios that i used before the update.

After the bios is updated, i try to play valorant again, the microsttuters and stuttering is gone, but the fps is dropping so much
like before i updated the bios, the fps was 400-550 but stable in 430 or something, and now it can barely reach 400, lots of skill used in game caused massive drops even it touch 150.

i've been wondering what's wrong all night since yesterday, i see that rollback the bios is one of the solution, but if want to rollback the bios version to the last one i used before the update, the microstutters will came again no?. any suggestion what should i do? or maybe the suggestion that the bios version should i use?

Thanks in advance.

Everything in BIOS at default values? That is what happens when you change BIOS version. Did you at least turn XMP on ? Check temperatures and voltages, enabled boost and/or other enhancements.

everything was default except xmp even before bios updates, after bios updates, i loaded all default and enabled the xmp, temperature and voltage are good to go, the temps is on 60 degree full load like before
