Fps drop dont now if im bottlenecking

My fps on most games like forza and far cry primal are at 55 fps but then drop to 10 fps.

My specs are:
Asus gtx 1060 6gb
I7 3700k
12gb of ddr3 ram
Corsair 500w psu
An old intel dh67bl motherboard

Do the frames drop and stay low, or is it momentary. Also, have you monitored your system temperatures?

They are momentary and my temps are never above 65°

There shouldn’t be a noticable bottle neck in your system for playing those games @1080p in the 60fps range. I would use DDU to wipe you graphics drivers, and then reinstall the latest ones from geforce experience.
