[SOLVED] FPS drop in CSGO after update ?

Good afternoon.

I wanted to know if the same thing happens to someone, since basically after the Update they did on 05/13/2021 they left me unable to play CSGO.

Attached my specs:

i7 8700k
16GB RAM DDR4 @ 2666 Mhz
GTX 1060 6GB Gibabyte
240GB SSD
M.2 120GB

Install fresh S.O with Windows 10 Pro yesterday to see if the problem was the operating system, but neither.

Windows Update and updated video card graphics.

I already tried:

• View the Nvidia Panel settings.
• Power modes are at peak performance.
• The drivers are up to date.
• Thermal pastes changed 1 week ago, both GPU / CPU temperatures do not exceed 50 ° C.

When I installed MSI Afterburner I enter the game, the GPU usage is at 20%.

I enter a game with BOTS or a DeathMach and it directly increases the use to 99% and from 400 FPS it goes down to 40-60 FPS.

I no longer know what to do, any suggestion or does the same thing happen to you?

I tried games like Fortnite, League of Legends, Valorant, and they all run me at +300 stable FPS with no loss.

fixed! Solved! The PCI Express cable that connects to the video card apparently did not work correctly. I switched to another cable and it was fixed.
