Fps drop in every game?!

Hello guys. I am experiencing huge fps drop in almost every game i play. Basically i play CS:GO n was getting around 300~ FPS. But after a few months now im getting ~100. I assembled my pc just in Jan 2016. So the bottleneck thing must not be the issue i guess. Tried all solutions available. Please help.
My PC Specs:
CPU: Intel i5 6500 (Skylake)
GPU: Asus Gtx960 4gb strix
PSU: Antec 500 watt
RAM: Hyperx 8 gb 2133mhz

do you use geforce experience? Often it sets 'optimum' gaming settings way to high for the hardware (in this case your GTX960).

Try removing the optimization for a game your playing and see if that makes any difference.

no ssd for me but hdd is around 50% full only.

using msi afterburner or asus gpu tweak isn't helping me anyway

have you tried a fresh/clean install of the drivers? When installing the drivers, there is an option in custom setting to do a 'clean install' worth a try.

ur system is brand new but maybe ure in dusty room, have u tryed to clean up ur computer case?

Yup there's a little bit of dust on it . im waiting for my air duster to arrive ordered it like 2 days back. Dust affects the performance that big?!

unless...

did you know that theres a rumor about the new nvidia driver updates? that it purposely weaken performance of older generation cards to make the upcoming pascal gpus all the more better... its just a rumor but maybe..

anyways its probably just the current patch on cs;go, since its an online game, to make rapid changes, best to try with different versions of the gpu driver.

csgo is just a reference. i play rust fallout arma too n experiencing same fps drop on every game. Well i will try rolling back the drivers again if it helps.

yeah dust can affect fps drops couse fan's can't do it works 100%

but u can check ur temperatures with some software i'm using speedfan

Temperatures are all good but yeah ill clean it asap.
