Fps drop in games

hey people need some serious help with fps in all my games, I don't know what is going on when i bought it was amazing to run then i factory restarted and had alot of problems with my games. that im playing on 13 fps

PC rig
CPU: Intel core i7
RAM:16GB consair
GPU: ASUS 1060GTX
HDD: 240gb SSD 2TB HDD
PSU: not to sure

If anyone can help be amazing

i'll try and findout just doesnt make any sense was running at 100fps then just dropped so frustrating how can you find that out?

you said you factory reset the system, did you update all your display and windows drivers after the factory reset?

also is windows update running in the background taking up most of your resources? After a factory reset your system will need all of its updates as it will reset all your drivers to the original drivers that came with the system.

just go to start menu, hit the settings option, go to update and security and check for windows updates.

If it finds updates let them all download and install and reboot. Then use Nvidia Geforce Experience to update your GPU drivers or go directly to the Nvidia website and download the latest driver for your GPU. Install it, reboot.

After doing both of these things, update us on if its fixed or not. Thanks.
