FPS drop?! Minecraft

Recently got a new laptop which I was hoping to play minecraft on, I run about 300 fps when I don't move however when I walk/run around on it I drop to around40-60 it's really annoying, any suggestions what it could be

Dual core i5-4210m
8gb hyper x impact ram
Nvidia before 840m

turn Vsync on, you will get a more stable framerate. 300 fps is pointless because your laptop will only show 60fps.

3 options:
turn down the settings (the 840m isnt very powerfull)
don't move (so you get your pointlessly high fps)
don't play minecraft but a proper game 😛

I know it way sound stupid but I want my fps to be around 300 I just want to know why it's dropping over 250 fps just when I run on it cause it shouldent be doing that

that is in all games the case (not that extreme though), it is more gpu intensive to walk than to stand still.
lower the settings (especially anti eyelashing or set it on fast instead of fancy. render distance is more memory intensive, you can try if it helps to turn that down)
