[SOLVED] FPS drop Same Specs: Geforce 1060 6gb

Hi
i have this current Set Up, with my CPU , used to record whiile gaming , now i notice i have alot more fps drops in games like GTA V, than what i used to have. used to play around 100 fps, now 35 -45 fps (without recording software). when i change from ultra settings to low, i get Same FPS.

(had the same exacly built, used to play with no problems, just recently became to have some FPS problems, already formated pc, reinstalled drives, disabled intel graphic throw bios, nothing fixed, checked temperatures and its allways bellow the normal temp, 50c while gaming)

should i have this problem? is it normal?
or what could it be wrong?

MB= GIGABYTE Z97M-D3H
RAM= 16 GB
CPU=intel Core i5-4460 CPU 3.20ghz
GPU = Geforce GTX 1060 6gb

Stock cooler?

CPU temps reported might be a lie. I had this CPU before and never, ever had it at 50C while gaming. It was over 60C most of the time, and it was with a much better aftermarket cooler than the one you get with stock. That's why I believe the CPU temp readings are false.

At the very least, you can try cleaning the CPU heatsink and replacing thermal paste. That cannot hurt at all, only help.
