Question FPS drop then Black screen, monitor.

The crush happens when I'm gaming. The game would be running fine 240 fps (capped) then suddenly drop in FPS and then crushes my monitor. The PC is still running and I would still hear Youtube. I have tried to update my graphic driver. That didn't seem to help.

How old is the PSU in your build?! By crush, do you mean crash? If so, the system doesn't reboot, correct? Might want to monitor your temps for the GPU when the issue crops up. You forgot to mention the make and model of your case, the number of fans in said case and the orientation of the fans within your case.

You should also mention how you've updated the GPU drivers. If I were you, I'd try and use DDU to remove all GPU drivers, then source the latest GPU driver from Nvidia's support site, then manually install in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Would be a good idea to also verify if your motherboard is pending a BIOS update.

Hi, I don't have a clue how old my PSU is and I'm not sure if it's a crush but my PC doesn't seem to be off. Just the monitor turns black but music (youtube) would still be running. I have used DDU to remove everything but I didn't install the new driver as an Admin. I have also checked if my motherboard have a BIOS update which it doesn't. The monitor is still on as I can use the build in menu options but a few seconds later the screen would turn off. The only way to turn it back on would to shut the PC down and reboot. Any ideas?

Would my GPU temp being too high (it seems to turn black around 85-86 C) be the cause of my Monitor turning black and my FPS dropping? And if so how to I fix this issue. The fans didn't seem to kick in at any point.
