[SOLVED] Fps drop with the RTX 2060/ryzen 6 2600

Hello everybody. I have a question. I have the ryzen 5 2600 , the RTX 2060 , 8gb ram ddr4 3000mhz and a 500w psu. I just bough the graphics card and I have an issue since i bought it .My fps increases a lot since I upgraded my GPU from the 1050 ti to the RTX 2060 but I am constantly dropping fps in games. It's unreal. For example in battlefield v if i turn 180 degrees I drop from 130fps to 12fps for like 3-5 seconds and it's unplayable.It happens in every game. I turn 90 degrees or more I drop down to 20fps. This is annoying.Any suggestions to fix this?

you need more RAM, is that a single stick that you have? if so get yourself another stick exactly like it. RYZEN runs way better in dual channel RAM configuration and new games just run better with 16gb nowadays. it is most definitely why you are getting FPS dips

I have 2x4 ddr4 300mhz..I drop in everygame even in csgo and it doesn't requier not even 500mb ram

Get a 2x8 ddr4 3000mhz and you will be fine

I have 2x8 ddr4 at 3000mhz and I get the same issues, so this is not the solution 🙁

Backup your current disk (c: drive) or get spare SSD to use in place and test. Reinstall windows clean with all new drivers for everything? This test will let your know if it is software or hardware.

Maybe it's the PSU? Which 500w PSU do you have? I would recommend a certified 600w just to be sure

Hello, I have the exact same problem and we have the same setup the only difference is that I have 32gb of ram.
