Question FPS Dropped to unplayable levels.

I've had issues in time with my ram not seeming to want to reach it's advertised speeds, so I'm running a 3200mhz kit at 2133mhz. I tried to fix it today and had no luck but instead my fps on easy to run games (valorant in particular) has dropped from an already low 70 fps down to 40fps. This is even more concerning seeing as my pc should be more than capable of hitting 150+ even though its not great. Any suggestions on 1. How to fix my ram speed and 2. Why my fps has dropped and how to fix.
