[SOLVED] FPS dropping to 5 ?

So i have a i5 3570 rx 550 and 8gb diual channel ram and earlier today it was working fine and getting 120fps on fortnite and then after i booted my pc to play fortnite after some time it is dropping fps to 5 and then 1 then 7 and like this. What could be the issue?

Hi yes resetting my bios fixed it for me!
