So I've noticed that my FPS in game drops after like a few minutes of playing, like I start out getting 85-90 FPS and after a few minutes, the FPS drops down to 70-80 FPS

My pc
2080ti
3700x
X570 MSI mpg gaming edge WiFi
3200mhz 16gb ram(xmp)

GPU temps stay at or around 80c latest drivers and windows update

Solution
It's probably the gpu. It has several temperature thresholds which determine how high it boosts.
When you start out, it's still fairly cool. After it's 'warmed up', you've likely passed one of those thresholds at that point, thus you get that.

So I should try to cool down the GPU..?

What’s your cpu temperature when this happens? Also monitor GPU & CPU speed (GHz) and when this happens, do either drop?
GPU stays at 80c most of the time whitout an aggressive fan curve,CPU anywhere from around 65-70c
I haven't monitored my CPUs clock speed but the GPU clock speed do drop somewhat, not by much tho
