I will be playing my game for about 15-20 minutes and then all of a sudden my whole computer starts to lag really bad. My game would drop to 1 fps and my actual computer would be lagging to a point where I can only move my mouse every 5 seconds or so. My computer is running just fine until this happens. I am running on low memory for my game with medium settings so nothing too stressful on anything. I have run a full computer virus check and have updated all my components but it still does this. Here's my computer specs:
Motherboard - Asus Z87 Deluxe
Ram - 16 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum
GPU - Geforce GTX 680 (Old GPU because my other one fried)
CPU - Intel i7-4770k (OC @3.9 GHz)
SSD - Samsung 840 EVO 500GB
PSU - Sentey 850w Metal Blade Power Modular (Brand new)
Operating System - Windows 10
Game - Ark: Survival Evolved
I had no issues with the game with my previous PSU and GPU but now my computer lags horrible with these new components. Is there anyway to fix this lag or am I just shit out of luck due to the GTX 680 I have for now.
