So, I used to play Minecraft with around 250 FPS, But however When i go to unlimited from now on my fps starts to drop to about 120-160 Every Second. Same with overwatch, I get 60 FPS normally, but from now on my fps Drops to 30-40 every 3-4 seconds, Even tho its gpu based (That's why im asking if my gpu is about to die too). I don't know if its my GPU or CPU tho, Becouse my Laptop is 6 years old anyway. IF i missed something please do comment.
Specs: Intel Core i5-3210m
8GB of Ram
GPU: NVidia GeForce GT 635M - 4GB
1TB Storage (Hard Disc) , No SSD.
I expirienced 220 Points yesterday on Cinebench too, also with my OpenGL i used to get around 35 fps, however now i get around 28. My points when i first tested the pc, when it was performing great, i got around 500-650 Points, And however now it lowered by a ton. Please guys, help me, Maybe it's both my CPU and GPU Dying, I don't Know.
Also i got a question if a Factory reset will fix the problems or getting a new pc will automatically fix the issue like always.
